How to Convert AVCHD Video to MOV

Step 1: Add the AVCHD file

As you see in image below, click the Add File button to browse your computer and add the AVCHD video you need to convert.

Step 2: Set output format as MOV

In the Profile drop-down list, choose "MOV - QuickTime Video (*.mov)" format as output format. If you'd like to convert AVCHD to HD MOV, you can choose "HD MOV Video (*.mov)".

Furthermore, if you want you can change the destination folder for output file: click Browse… button and choose the folder. And also you can set the video parameters including Encoder, Resolution, Frame Rate, Video Bitrate in Settings panel to customize output videos.

Step 3: Start the conversion

Press the Start button to start the AVCHD to MOV conversion. A few minutes later, your needed MOV file will be generated. You are supposed to click Open Folder to find it.
