Hewlett-Packard has
completed its acquisition of 3Par, the data-storage specialist it
won from rival Dell after a frenzied 10-day bidding war. HP closed the deal today, paying $33 per share, or $2.35 billion, for 3Par–significantly more than
its opening bid of $1.6 billion.
